QMobile has recently introduced few Android OS based sets in market and these sets are getting people’s interest due to lower price range (however I wont call it lower price due to several reasons which I will mention) there are various reasons not to buy such phones here are some of following:
1. QMobile Brand:
Q Mobile is not mobile phone manufacturer they are just importers they import cheap quality unbranded mobile phones from China and branding those phones with their own name therefore you can’t trust on Quality of those phones.
2. Accessories:
Accessories comes with their phone are just worst quality batteries, data cables, handsfree, chargers are poor quality China made.
3. Prices:
Q Mobile prices are high as compare to other China imported phones as they are offering their own warranty and investing alot on media campaigns therefore may be thats the reason of high prices.
Now come to Q Mobile Android Phones:
Q Mobile has recently introduced two models Noir A2 and Noir A5 here are few reasons not to buy those phones.
1. Operating System:
Both phone comes with Android Gingerbread 2.3 OS which is now older version current version is 4.0.3 so those phone comes with obsoleted version of Android OS and both phones are not upgrade able so even if you buy those phones you wont be able to upgrade those phone.
2. Screen Size and Pixels:
A2 comes with 3.5 inch screen and A5 with 3.7 inch screens with pixels size of 320×480 which is too less for such screen sizes. you can’t see quality pictures on those sets. Even entry level HTC Explorer comes with 320×480 pixels but its screen size is 3.2 inches which makes screen clearly view-able but making large screen size with such pixels will make screen pix-elate .
They have mentioned they are using HVGA Screens but actually pixels size is 320×480 pixels which didn’t came under HVGA criteria.
3. Battery Life:
They have mentioned 288 hours standby time but A5 stands for one day on normal use.
4. Processing Speed:
We have tested apps on A5 but it was really very slow as compare to similar configuration phones.
5. Poor UI:
QMobile is just using Android‘s default UI which is not good, in now a days branded phones are coming with their own branded user interfaces.
Due to these reasons I wont prefer anyone to buy Q Mobile Android phones.

I agreed that QMobile is just an importer but I am sorry to say that rest of your review is not correct. Most of international brands like Samsung, HTC are still using Gingerbread 2.3 version on their low-end devices which is the most widely used Android version (63%) till now and user base of Ice Cream Sandwich 4 is 11% (slowly increasing). Android 2.3 Gingerbread is not obsolete. The newest Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS released in June 2012 is coming with Gingerbread OS. New versions are coming but it does not mean previous versions become obsolete.
I bought A5 last saturday n till now my views r that y we start to thinking for upgrade first use the phone to its extreme then u think to upgrade, people r crazy for A2 and A5 now its short in Karachi Mobile Markets even its also short in Saddar Mobile Market, i am very much satisfied with my A5 and lastly why to spend 20k or more for a android phone when u can have it in 11,000PKR

To Fadi Xmart: On QMobile A5 current available version, we can only do audio Skype phone calls. I have done audio phone calls using Skype on A5 and video phone calls using Yahoo Messenger on A5. To see full review of QMobile A5, please read my detailed review on my website.

I am using A2 with 1ghz processor. Working perfectly, doing skype video calling. The only drawback is that its internal memory is only 92mb. So we cannot put many apps. But still with this price, its awesome. People are status conscious in Pakistan so that is the reason people are demoralizing cheap phones. Wait for just 6 months, and you will see their phones with dual core processors as well. Then you will compare the prices with Iphone and Samsung.
Let me tell you something i used HTC wildfire N Now using A2 N I Can say that i found A2 more capable than HTC wildfire as compare to thier prices…N Other thing that we as Pakistani just don’t want to give our own brands a try to prove themselves…if Korean people would have done the same with samsung they might not able to stand in company of Apple n other leading brands…What Say??..
